Ex Wabash engineThis engines origins are a bit of a mystery. We're pretty sure it's a Wabash from the Detroit area, but the builder plate has been removed.
The stenciling on it reads AKMD 317. Before that it was MW(?)X. The search continues.

Where is it?No really, I want to know. This was taken from the observation car on the Bellevue Banner 1987 somewhere is South East Michigan. I am thinking south of Detroit.
