Frankfort Question
Back when the AA ran to Frankfort/Elberta, I understand they had a short branch that went into Frankfort to serve a few customers. Who were they, and how long did this last? Thanks in advance.

Do not know if they are still doing it, but the Det.News/Free Press plant at 16 Mile and Mound was/is printing The Toledo Blade, and then it is trucked to Toledo.

Re: Potential Customers on the Sterling Secondary?
The plastics place does not get rail, but a new customer near 18 mile get truck frames, then loads them on flatbed to go across 17 Mile to the Dodge Ram plant. They have 2 or 3 tracks outside, and 1 into the building.

Re: new locomotive at the saginaw railway museum
Please allow a question. At this museum, there is a track that comes off a main track, and goes south a couple of blocks, and goes into an industrial area. You can clearly make out the former footprint of a large building that the tracks went to--or inside of. What did this used to be??

Re: LSRC SD50's
Same RR, but different question. My son saw on Facebook that LSRC was getting a GP40, 2 slugs and a switcher from NS---anybody seen or heard anything about this?
