Could be a holiday traffic Wolverine train; don't know if you have seen any Amtrak trains lately, but we have been running btw 6-8 car normally and going as high as 10 cars during the holiday rush----without a bag car of course

I too heard rumblings of Amtrak being re-routed thru Michigan, at least they mentioned 29--don't know about 49 though.

If they do, the Amtrak photobugs will have a good day with re-routes and 353 having a P32 on their train.

Brought the 516 with me on 354 this morning on the rear; look for this unit to lead 353 at least until after Detroit when the train will be wyed to have an ITCS leader on the point heading west....

I took my wife and oldest daughter and a friend on the canyon trip back in '06; the trip was behind schedule both ways account of trackwork and we had a couple of SD75s' for power---ugghh I can see those darn things anyday of the week--- I was hoping for some of those 9500s' for our engines.
