Re: Strange Union Pacific train

That train came out of Jackson with the camp cars and flats for the track equipment for the rail gang that did some work recently; heard it was heading to Alliance after it waited in Toledo for a cab-signal leader. Not sure why they put that train in Jackson as NS changed out some rail just west of ...

Re: Amtrak 350: two cafe cars?

Amtraks' sorry attempt to add more capacity for business class; why not just suck it up and do it like the Carolinian with a WHOLE car of business class---which really was an upraded long-distance coach with the nicer seats. Sometimes we gets those lead sleds and sometimes we don't; personally I don...

I was thinking a darker blue would 'work' better with that green and silver.......although in my eyes, all that pretty paint won't look as good if those engines don't pull worth a darn!!!

Re: I'm Back! New Decals (and old ones too) coming soon!

Which covered hoppers are we talking about Todd, the single-bay airslides or the blue grain cars that were 'stationed' in Iowa and only made it to home rails once on accident (mis-routed)?? I have a set for each of these somewhere in my basement; is it possible to use a set as a template to make mor...

Re: CN Updates 10-10 to 10-16

3 flatcars were on the ground right in the middle of the plant at Scotten. Perhaps CN should look into NOT putting these lightweight cars in between big blocks of loads........ I had to wait on 384 coming home on 354 at Scotten and I heard Desk 8 talking to 391 while I was traversing thru the carnag...

Yeah TTAM, Ol' Sage surprises me too with all the info he is carrying around in that noggin of his. We saw a train moving representin...
