Well the TSBY/GLC made a middle of the day appearance in Clare to switch out the Pavillion. Engine numbers were #391 and #394.

Actually from researching the map, its the old GTW M.A.L. line, it still looks pretty visible. If you look at it closely it looks like a very thin line, with a bridge still in place, then it ends at Whitmore Lake road, I can't find the rest from that point, unless the vegetation grew over the line, ...

I happen to notice something on the map which Owl posted a link to. Is that old roadbed running next to the tracks then next to M-36? It looks like it use to be an old industrial spur.

No, about the 35s being gone. They bought the 38-2s, and they are on their way up.

Well the jokes on me, the engineer that told me this pulled a fast one on me , plus tonite 385 and 390 had some trouble of their own. 385 had a not so good sound to it and 390 was spewing oil all over the place. Time for their turns at the shops.

I'm about to start writing letters to railroads in hopes of applying to become a conductor. I was hoping if anyone had the following mailing addresses for NS, CN, CSX, and Lake States. Any replies to this would be appreciated!

a friend of mine recently moved to G.R. to go to college, and was wondering where to see the GR&E at the best time and place? Best place and times to see any CSX trains leaving? Best place and times to see any NS action out of Hughart yard?
