I think people just don't like change lol. I think the old system has been working without major complaints so I see no real reason to change it

Amtrak Update in the Amtrak Threads...makes perfect sense. If a visitor comes here looking for Amtrak updates, they will never think to look in the CSX threads for it.

But as a long time user I may not think to check here to find it since I know it should be in the CSX section

Is the troublesome truck sprung, As in, a spring pushing the truck down "into" the rails so to speak? Sounds like not enough downward pressure is being applied, try either adding a spring if none exists or a stronger one if there is one already.

I recently got a Bachmann Berkshire and got it running on my layout. However I noticed that it seems to like to pick switches with the pilot truck occasionally. I was wondering if anyone had suggestion on how to avoid this, and how to avoid derailments in the future. Thanks in advance!

CSX engine #6461 derailed today on the Hamilton Branch. I am unsure of the road crossing that it is at, but I assume it is still there
