Is it planned for ONTN to go back north or would that be for tomorrow?

With how everything is going with these engines I wouldn't be surprised if this happens to them. I can see the GP35 being pushed down to Yard jobs or small local trains (Cadillac-Mcbain, any trains north of Cadillac, Ashley to Middleton, etc), with how many times these engines have been on the sidel...

Hopefully this bridge remodel will allow 1225 to go north to Petoskey and TC, and what I heard, more shipments could go north as well, so the possibility of new customers on the line. Sounds like a good next couple of years for business in Northern Michigan

SRI Maroon and Gold Express building their football train, consisting of 4 coach cars, gift shop/diner car, and the newly repainted C&O Cabooses. Short train.

So it looks like Michigan SR, Brian Begole is doing a fall tour excursion this year with 1225, this will be the engines first run since 2 years ago. What do you guys think.

So apparently Michigan High speed rail program, which would upgrade Amtrak lines, upgrade stations, and add new routes (A2TC, Coast to Coast, Detroit to Toledo etc), they asked for 100 million, but according to MILive, it got cut to 20 million, it hasn’t got signed by the governor, so maybe a chance...

They are also doing a football train from Owosso to CMU sometime in September
