Re: Tonight's Q-107
Tonight's Q-107 out of Marion will have UP 6373 (an SP painted AC4400CW) and BNSF 5681 (another AC4400CW). The crew is called for 7:00 PM and the train usually leaves about 8:00 and with sunset still at or around 9, the train should pass through the area with adequate light. This train typically ru...

Re: CSX Train Location Updates: 6/23/10
Any ethanol trains with power from the Midwest today? I've seem to have lost track.

Re: K-695 Heads-Up Way Ahead of Time
At five before six the train was by CP-393 (about 40 miles east of Buffalo) with the Soo unit trailing. It's looking like a nocturnal journey through Ohio for K-695.

Re: K-695 Heads-Up Way Ahead of Time
For all the Cleveland folks and those along the B&O, K-695 with CP and Soo power cleared CP-207 near St. Johnsville, NY just before 1:30 PM. Looks like this one may come through at night if it doesn't get held up at Buffalo or Cleveland (but this is the railroad). There also should be a K-694 in th...

Re: K-695 Heads-Up Way Ahead of Time
Don't worry, there'll be more where that came from. The SOO and the CP's are what's killing me... I have no transportation to get them, plus they'll probably be through in the dark. Those don't come around every day, like the DME's and ICE's do... Quite literally, in fact. I live at least two hours...

Re: K-695 Heads-Up Way Ahead of Time
K637 passed through Berea around 11:00am, so it should be getting towards western Ohio by now. K675 is also somewhere out on the system with a couple DME's and a CITX. Yeah I'm really kicking myself for not going to Greenwich or Attica today (I'm also hunting for "Rent-a-Wrecks" on NS, so going to ...

Knew I should have gone to Greenwich today. Train probably would have come through right when the clouds moved on too.ConrailForever wrote:K637 through Berea around 11:00am. If your out west towards Deshler and Defiance, it should be reaching you shortly.

Re: K-695 Heads-Up Way Ahead of Time
Someone on Trainorders speculated that the Soo SD60M might be leading if CSX looped the power at Selkirk (it led the eastbound counterpart).

Re: CSX Train Updates 6/22/10
S327 just went through Zeeland. What's with the "S"? Is there that much business they had to run an extra or because of all the bad weather lately trains aren't getting running when they are supposed to? Just curious.... "S" prefixed trains are usually extra manifests or automotive loads (Q-200 and...

CSX Foreign Power for the Day
It was reported on Trainorders that K-637 was by Rochester, NY at 12:30 AM with DME 6364 and 6083. Any idea where it is now? Then somebody on the CSX_Albany_GreatLakes Yahoo! Group posted this: - Q-393-21 with BNSF 717 (possibly a Warbonnet?) and BNSF 4984 - K-694-21 with CITX 3110, DME 6074 and ICE...

Willacoochee, GA on the former Pearson Sub. Can't imagine how jumbled that would sound when the D.D. would say that.

No I can't say that I do. I do however remember seeing that there was a DED at that location in a track chart from the mid or late 80s.bdconrail29 wrote:Anybody remember the dragger at Dunkirk at MP 59?
