Bumped one more time to see if anyone is interested before I list them on E-bay. One just sold for over $530 there. I will take $400 a piece, plus shipping. Let me know!
Best Regards,
Galen

FOR SALE CNR U-2 Northerns (2)
Hello All, I have 2 U-2 Northerns, HO, Built by Truline Trains of Canada. The are beautiful locomotives, both are brand new, NEVER ran, in the shipping cartons. They are full sound, and DCC. I have no way of testing or running them. They still have the warranty cards. They come in a beautiful wooden...

Re: Please Read!!!!
Hey, I got a question. In the download, it shows a caboose, but int the "rwp" file, I do not see it. Is it included in the pack, and I just don't see it in the Package Manager? Very nice set...I must say!!

I'd go for an SD40-2...since that would only be a re-paint!

Re: Please Read!!!!
I should have read on!! Your units are very nice...and I posted a few pictures on here. Great job! They look right at home on the "Ohio Steel 2" route! I uploaded the "rwp" file, but I still can't find the caboose. Did you include it in the pack, or is it listed under another file name? Great Work.....

Re: LP Gas
Think what you wish, but I sat in on two meetings a few years back...one with BP out of St. Clair, and MUST Storage of Marysville, and track quality was top on the list. Certain rules during transportation of these gases, which Class 1's do all the time, do not petain to Class 2 and 3 railroads. EOT...

Re: LP Gas
Mostly has to do with the quality of track vs. insurance against derailment. Most track up north is no where near the quality it needs to be to ship LPG.

You might look at the Kalso Shops GP9R CN conversion kit. Just a thought.

Re: ALCO Engine
My understanding is several Alco lines in the northeast looked at the LSRC fleet and said the asking prices were "absurdly" high. They would not budge, just an emphatic NO. A employee of LSRC was reported to have said he hated to see them go as they were good units, but the new guy "didn't understa...

Re: Amtrak station in Battle Creek...
Uh, the building is owned by the City of Battle Creek... it's at the city level. Amtrak has little say over the renovations; it is an "intermodal" facility regardless. Gotta love how people find a way to trash Amtrak. It's the City of Battle Creek's "Pride and Joy." Amtrak simply leases space insid...

If you are US Army retired, book it for them, book it early as well. I am currently active duty, and prices drop significantly.

Re: LSRC enters no-contest plea
Equipment issue - Not a crew issue. Blame falls on the company, if any. Doesn't the crew check on equipment before going in service? Not sure how that works in the rail service.. Once again..."Arm Chair Railroading at it's best".... If people would look to the government, and hold them accountable....

What is the actual casualty? In the release, they do not state what is actually wrong with the locomotive. Just curious.
Thanks
