my club has been discussing what day is preferred for train shows Saturday or Sunday? which day would you go?

because the tunnel is not a tunnel . it's was not bored but sunk . so they could only enlarge it so far. so autorack and some container was better then none.

the tunnel can handle two 8'6" contaniers but not two 9'6" containiers or the 20'2" autoracks like the p.h. cn tunnel can. that is why they want a new one.

it's going to happen. csx is planning crossovers at vermont ave. this is so csx has access to clearing without using the ns or up.. there is talk of a connection at wellsboro also.

that was the switch to the team track ,it did not have any thing to do with the passing siding.

grand rapids was short crews.so csx took garrett crew that worked in grand rapids to run the reroutes to grand rapids.

maybe if I worked for a short line they would let me squat in an old building on the property. no I will stay at a class 1 much more opportunity

I one of the grand rapids people that need to go to Garrett in. I am looking for a place to stay. if any one has an idea, I'm game. I trying craigslist and some others but no luck.

keep on dreaming!!! you don't even have the money to keep your track up to the 45 mph that it was when you took over let alone buy more . if you did have that kind of cash why didn 't you buy the ns it would have been cheaper.

the rack are still at gross. the rr had to move some because they were to cloce to the crossing

i got bumped out of Grand Rapids mi and now living in garrett. are there any good hobby shop near by for trains.

i had one wo train last year with one engine pushing because the engineer forgot to put it online and we didn't make it. so i cut off 30 cars and put them in the siding at the top. while the pusher took thetrain back down the hill. when we tried again, we stall on the hill and that is when the engin...

you need to add a few more miles to that. K356 comes off the lake sub. cp hick is where it connect with the ns.

d700 does not work on sunday any more. just 5 days a week.

sunday night train is all way small . d700 and mqt does not run on saturday so the car cound is low. if they use Sunday train to catch up on cars. there was a crew shorted laet night and right no one what to help the company out after they laid people off.
