I've been searching under trip reports and General and have not seen any pics/vids of the Northern Arrow IN Petoskey. Saw a few of the loco's south of town and even a video I believe near Clare but usually there are some good pics in the town of Petoskey

Re: CSX Train Location Update 4-26-12
Saw Y121 in Hamilton around 1:50pm. Brought 14 CH and tankers and took back about that many. I've never seen over 20 cars in Hamilton. Why so much traffic. Always know that the CH have been going to Hamilton but about 6 black tankers too. What is this addional traffic? Great to see Hamilton busy :) ...

Re: GLC in TC -HEADS UP AGAIN!
Seems to me that it would just be easier to take them to Williamsburg and use the run-around. Plus, it would be nice to see the rust ground off those rails out there. Been waiting for a chance to get a shot of a GLC locomotive at the end of the line there right at Elk Lake Rd. Have one that somebod...

Heres the two loaded centerbeams arriving at Amerhart today. Didn't have time to wait for them to unload and catch the whole train leaving town....... 398-399 arrive at the Amerhart yard in Bates with two loaded centerbeam lumber cars. http://railroadfan.com/gallery/albums/userpics/10524/3_22...

Re: Holland-Ottawa Beach Spur to TLC
I noticed 4 boxcars that go to TLC sitting on Spur just east of Aniline and Ottawa Beach Road in Holland. Not normally where they are spotted. Did it look something like this, but with another box in place of the loco? http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y17/jimthias/Trains/CSXT2775-2637.jpg Hey JT, T...

Holland-Ottawa Beach Spur to TLC
I noticed 4 boxcars that go to TLC sitting on Spur just east of Aniline and Ottawa Beach Road in Holland. Not normally where they are spotted. Then I saw ties across tracks by TLC and work being done on the tracks by the warehouse. I'm thinking a rail broke when backing/pulling cars out and the loca...

Trains and Railfan & Railroad Magazines
Hello, End of year cleaning and looking to sell my 4 plus boxes of Trains and Railfan & Railroad Magazines. Trains magazines go back to early 1990's and nearly every edition since. Even bought some binders but never used. Railfan mags run from mid-1990's to mid 2000's. I know that Trains' magazines ...

Re: Sturgis/Three Rivers - 9/23/11
I hear conflicting reports about OmniSource about whether they are shipping or not. I know many OS locations ship a lot by rail. At the north end of this segment I hear Ross still receives tank cars of food additives. And IIRC the paper plant has a 2nd spur that connects to this segment as well as ...

Sturgis/Three Rivers - 9/23/11
Had to go down to Three Rivers and Sturgis Friday for work. While in Three Rivers, saw a Southbound Grand Elk around 10:30am. Later was down in Sturgis, was on Bogden Road and saw two covered hoppers at I believe was Miller and Sons. This is the last remant of track before the Indiana Boarder/Toll r...

Re: Amtrak P371 snow busting videos
Great Videos JT.
The second video, where the pick-up truck was just over the crossing between the tracks and Chicago Drive.....that could have been bad. They had to have been blasted with snow big time, wouldn't surprise me if it dented the side of the truck.

Re: Hamilton Farm Bureau Co-op
JT....DUDE, these are awesome. I believe you are correct....I've never seen a picture from the EAST side of the Trestle. Did you walk out onto the ice and onto that bit of land where the river and back water (bile) is. Went ice fishing back there over 25 years ago. Great shots! BTW.....Engine number...
