Wasn't there talks (very very briefly) about using Mosel Yard and laying rail south to the north side of Graphic's plants? Thus eliminating the diamond next to BO? On another note....these NIMBY's that complain about the smell....that mill has been there for years. Most likely the smell has actually...

19 years ago,when I worked there as a contractor, they had 4 privately owned 70T hoppers. I worked in Blg 41 for almost 7 years and I saw them mostly use CR/NS 3 and 4 bay 100T hoppers. They did unload and reload coal into their own hoppers but I never saw them actually placed in or near the Powerho...

the electric furnace minimill will help drive(assure) the new Thetford CMS gas fired plant too. As Im sure the two entities have been in contact for quite some time The last that I heard the Thetford project was put on hold. Just heard that there may be an extensive steel mill going up near Durand. Looking to acquire 4 square miles of land.

From my end, I'm a Labor Representative. Barton Malow out of Detroit has the project and will be using a National Maintenance Agreement which is good news for the local trades. Huge job, good for the area. Will post more if the interest is there.

The only time I paid attention to any type of open hopper load was for Pfizer. They would get 3 and 4 bays, both CR and NS..

Conrail H43 class Hoppers
Im looking for an old CR H43 class 3 bay open hopper somewhere in Michigan to measure up for a modeling purposes. Im in GR and willing to drive around 3 hours one way if I can find one.
