Um, Disney has already solved the train not stopping problem with the Omnimover, in its case the load operator can slow or stop both the platform and cars for "special" needs or emergencies, but being this is China there will just be a garbage dumpster to fall into at the end :roll:

While it's sad indeed, there are several early 20th century Lake Boats of similar design that are preserved, the Valley Camp at the Sault and the Schoonmaker at Toledo both come to mind. Boatnerd.com reports that the Pilot house and Funnel are already removed, so Bay is not waisting any time on this conversion. Now how long until the last of the Steam Turbine ships are all gone too.

It seems that there is often a couple in one direction close together, then a long wait. How many sidings are there between Montpilier and Detroit, and is that a factor in the fleeting that seems to take place.

On a daily basis If I am 10 mins late going to work or coming home I will end up being 15 mins late. Usually Eastbound in the Morning and West in the afternoon. I Also see The Ethanol train going east in the late morning early afternoon if I am in Montpelier. But the traffic seems to run long period...
