Re: Everything/Anything CF&E thread...Part 2
Cool glad you guys saw that at least, kind of surprises me a little I suppose, I figured you would be reporting seeing that power with grain cars as well. It looked like a Central Soya set to me, I didn't watch the whole thing but I saw enough to convince me. Neat HLCX engine, I'd like to get a pict...

Re: Everything/Anything CF&E thread...Part 2
Good luck, I hope you catch it. I saw it from about 3 blocks away and would like a little better look :D I was out in Lima filming today, CFE 3882 and 3886 were the only ones in the yard. It seems they they keep 4 locos at Cole St so I looked for them by P&G and in Delphos but no luck. Figured they ...

Re: Everything/Anything CF&E thread...Part 2
A west bound in Ada just passed, about 5:30 on the dot. Had a red white and blue HLCX motor leading a CSX wide cab EMD, and then the locomotive in GT paint. The BN painted geep was was about 5 cars or so behind the leading motors, then there was a whole bunch of grain cars behind that. Weird setup, ...

Re: Galetea Ohio
Oh how I'm missing my old place in Findlay, only been gone 21 days. I could see the trains on the branch from 3 rooms in the house. Anyhow what kind of train was that K train, and where did it originate? TIA Two unusual trains used the new transfer on July 21. K859-21 heading for Chicago and the Sat...

Thanks, I'll have to get set up on Flickr, I'm not on it yet. Yes, The WLE 4000 was still with the train over here. What time did you catch it? It made it through here right about 12:30. EDIT TO ADD Well that wasn't so bad, I'm all set up on Flickr now. Thanks for the help. Now for a couple pics.......

Sweet Video. I popped off a couple shots at that grain train here in Ada, I happened to walk outside and hear it coming into town so I rode down. If I knew how to post pictures I'd share the photo version.

Had a westbound grainer in Ada about 2:30pm today. CSXT 7833 for power with a matching train set of [HTM] cars. First train I've seen since I moved back here on the 1st.

Re: Galetea Ohio
Thanks for checking into that. I haven't been home all day(saw a nice CSX powered westbound grain train near Ada today on the CF&E though), anybody seen or heard any more of the new trains on the branch today? Q131 around Findlay at 2:30 AM today. Q146 got to Columbus does not show operating at Fost...

Re: Galetea Ohio
I saw that Q246 with alot of power, long train as well. I'm really curious about the southbound intermodal that went down the branch before the 246, I was expecting to hear that it had been the first train around the transfer..... Computer showing Q246-16 was the first train to use the new transfer....

Re: Galetea Ohio
A southbound stack train is going through Findlay at 11:26 that is obviously not Q131, sounds like it's begun.... It sounds as though Q147 may be using the connection tonight. The engineer just told the IE dispatcher that he is not qualified north of Ridgeway. The dispatcher knew that and the train ...

Re: Marion CSX traffic stalled
This appears to have happened on Wednesday, So is the traffic still being affected?

A car crashed into a pole line in Marion, so the CSX traffic has been stalled for now.
