Went to Middelton,loading it today.

There was a train though Mt Plesant early Saturday afternoon.Was tubing down the Chippawa and heard it,sounded like it was north bound.

393 has been running,seen it acouple times last few weeks.389 has been moved somewhere,dont see it sitting outside anymore.I swear I saw one of 35's sitting ouside today all sand plasted getting ready for paint,394 maybe? Wonder what they want to use 1977 for,loading sand in Yuma?

I would say all the sand hoppers were for Yuma,all had COOX,DSIX,AOK,MBKX reporting marks and seemed empty judging by the springs.Also in Oakley there is yet another grain train being loaded,they have been loading 2-3 unit trains a week there for the past 3 weeks.Middelton is taking in corn right no...

Little late but just got home from work.While on my truck route in Owosso today caught GLC heading north out of town.Longest GLC I have ever seen,took 45min for me to get though town.Power was 2 GP38's,6 plastics,5 loads of coke,3 long tank cars,and rest was all sand hoppers.I lost count of the sand...

Grain Train on GLC"s Middleton Branch was loaded as of 6pm,should go out tonight or in the morning.Drove over to Ashley and seen 390&397 with about 30 SGVY Hoppers parked on the main pointing north.Train was dead,awaiting to dump ballests I would guess?

Should have been more clear it was a GLC train,going over there tonight to see if I can catch them leaving Middleton.

Grain Train loaded over weekend in Middleton and ready to head south today,looks like a 65car CSX unit.They brought one into Oakley over weekend also they was starting to load it this morning at 9am when I came up M52,also a CSX unit train.

I was thinking same thing,although yesterday in Middleton there was only 6 hoppers at MAC.Thinking they was bringing one to MAC today maybe,or a sand extra for Yuma?

Just heard reports of a truck vs Train at the Taft Rd.crossing southeast of Ashley.This is on GLC mainline,truck down in the river and Lifenet out of Saginaw is being sent to scene.Reports that the truck ran into the side of the train.

At times if MAC in Middleton turns a grain train around quick they have left there power in Perrington for the haul back south.

Seen GLC switching the yard in Owosso this morning,399&385 doing the work of building northbound train.Seems last 3weeks they have been pairing up a 38&35 compared to the a all 38 pair.GP35 385&393 have been the units of choice out of Owosso with one of the 38"s.
