Demos were supposed to arrive this week but as far as I know they haven't left GE yet. I will be down there on March 13-16 and I have arranged a visit to Bowden yard so hopefully I can find out more then.

I will confirm that the 70s are leaving and the 40s are staying per an FEC employee. They will get 11 demos until their order of 24 is delivered in September.

Ypsi, you are gonna cost me hundreds of dollars LOL. After seeing your layout I really started thinking about how mine could be changed to be much better. I did some research, and have now settled on a 10x12 around the walls layout with a proper staging yard. I'll take pictures of the cureent layput...

Early this morning, HPR 209 experienced a derailment due to a washout near Nelson, Ga. The train was traveling at 10 MPH (Track speed) at the time. 3 locomotives and 9 cars were put on the ground. No contents were spilled and no injuries were reported. Most of the cars were carrying stone.

HPR 91, the New Georgia Railroad heritage unit has been shopped at High Point for a paint redesign.
