As far north as they go with 7802 now-a-days, if you're lucky, is up to Erie or Samaria Rd in Temperance. That's usually only for storage and nothing else from what I've seen.

NS 5420, a CR SD50 in Blue Paint ("Conrail Quality"), made it in to AA's Ottawa Yard a little over 2 hours ago bringing in a mixed freight with about 5 cars. It was running solo, and ran Long Hood Forward when leaving with 53 cars, 3 of them being hoppers.

My reports are usually from Ottawa Yard in Toledo, where it's typical to see NS come in daily and end up leaving with a big load of autoracks and other freight at the end.

NYC (1066) is leading train 861. Was last spotted in Elkhart at 7:54PM eastern heading east.

The Wabash unit is heading to Elkhart, IN as we speak. It's leading, and is planned through Toledo later. It was by Cresson, PA at 9:30am.

Just got a report that AA is running the last train as an independent shortline right now, I believe they left the yard about 7 minutes ago.

As far as I'm aware, they still have them even though they don't use them very much up to the north. The only portion used is down in the Toledo area itself.

not a bad day in that case, now all we have to see is how long the engines survive in their current forms.

Sorry for not posting much for updates, it's been cold enough where it's being a challenge. 7802 was switching the plant earlier, 2368 was switching some cars in the yard and there was a NS SD40-2 sitting in there waiting to take out a load today.

What power was on it? Just asking, as I caught 1337 come down to the yard all by itself and then they switched some autoracks including some brand new CSX ones. NS also is going to be taking a grain train out of the yard, but they didn't leave yet as of 4pm

I caught this train today by surprise, they ended up stopping in Toledo just short of Stickney Ave and blocked Matzinger Rd.
