Be great to see if it catches on. I think railpictures.net misses out on some creative shots because they are too concerned about the perfect picture. If you put a picture on this site that gets 20 votes and 17 are negative, chances are your picture stinks.

How much of one type of plastic do they use? If they use 13 different types, the shipping will certainly be done by truck. Does anyone know where in Benton Harbor the plant will be located? If it is not on the line, CSX surely will not build a spur to it.

That was 1990. People who got shot in 1990 usually were asking for it in one means or another. Now you get shot just because. No other reason, just because.

I would do 24 hours at Dolton before 24 hours at Delray. Still, unless you have a hog leg, it may not be the safest venture. It is not like the demilitarized zone that surrounds 59th street and Corwith Yards, but it is close.

I have a goal this summer to fan all the lower peninsula shortlines at some time. So far I have got the TSBY/GLC, HESR, Ann Arbor, and Detroit Connecting out of the way. Does the old PH&D count? I know CSX runs it, but it is a shortline as far as I am concerned.

I cannot help being a GLC/TSBY fan. My father lives just north of Howell at Milepost 81 and my grandmother lives just west of Cadillac at Milepost 231. I miss the days of the mid '70's when AA ran six to eight trains a day through Cadillac, along with the Michigan Northern trains on the other line t...

I had an awesome morning in Durand on Tuesday. I will get a trip report tomorrow, as I just got home from a round trip to Cadillac about 11 pm. Saw several CN, the WB Blue Water, a NB GLC, and inbound/outbound HESR jobs for Midland. Upon my way to Cadillac, I got a good shot of a SB GLC at M-46 in A...

Railfanning either Monday or Tuesday?

Is anyone planning a trip out to watch trains Monday or Tuesday? The weather is supposed to be very warm, with just a small risk of rain Tuesday. I will travel just about anywhere within 1 1/2 hours of Royal Oak. Romulus, Plymouth, Durand, Carleton, Trowbridge, heck, I just want to get out.
