Heck yeah Scooterb. That is a great site. Got me licking my chops for my next Fostoria trip. I went twice last year and had a great time both outings.

Sounds like UP is in trouble to me, but then what do I know? I happen to be a rational person, not a trial lawyer or a sicophant juror.

I'm sure UP, Metra, and whoever else can be attached to the case will end up as defendants.

I'm not saying Minnesota did not get dumped on, but is it really the "Storm of the Century"? I hear that term bantered about so often that naturally I become leary any time it is mentioned?

Yeah all, feels great. I still have some more weight to go, but now I can do more than just sit on my can watching trains. Not that there is anything wrong with that. :D

The sure fire way I have found to have trains pass the station in Durand is to go up to Subway or McDonalds on the north end of town.

I think it will. Ann Arbor and several of the communities up the line from town are serious about the train option.

I went last year to this show. Well worth it. Too bad the CSX line nearby does not have much traffic on it.

Free Train Game to play on line.

I found a game on line that involves trains. It is a shooting game with multiple levels called Rails of War. It is at the site miniclip.com.

Here is a link to the game:

Star Clipper Derails

The Valentines Day Special Star Clipper Dinner Train derailed at the Pontiac Trail crossing. As of this time, I have no details except to say there are no injuries and that all cars remained upright.
