With a Diesel two stroke engine, there still has to be some sort of forced aspiration in order for it to work properly. GP38s and others like it have blowers, which is a form of supercharging.

When you set the 'automatic' the train brakes will start setting from the point of application and approximately one car at a time. Michigan Shore never uses their dynamic brakes. No need to repair them if broken. They were probably never inspected at all too, being that they were never used. Marquette does a lot of dynamic braking, especially heading into Newaygo from either direction.

Non -passenger operations can be conducted on excepted track. Passenger operations require Class 1 track. If Continental started shipping, I would assume that they are going to be putting out many loads a day. Being that C&M doesnt actually have a paid crew, they would either have to hire a actual full time crew or get GRE to do all the switching.

The Baggage Car is an Ex-C&O end door horse car. It is now in downtown Coopersville near the enginehouse. It is in very bad shape and will be parted out and scrapped after being used by local fire departments for training on railroad emergencies. It is missing a coupler, the journal brass is all go...

Whats with that baggage car, hopper car, and locomotive trucks behind the old Delphi plant? Im pretty sure that CSX carriage is right next to that baggage car. And, is that business in that old Delphi plant going to use the rail at all?

JUMPIN JEBUS ON A CRACKER! The guy was laying between the rails. The remote crew had a man on the head end. The pucks were being overriddin and there WAS A GUY ON THE HEAD END.
