Amtrak P371 (engine 189) left Holland at 8:29 AM.

BNSF 9605 and 9361 bringing empties south into Holland by Riley Street at 8:37 AM.

Too bad we generally only see them in the dark in Holland.

D80216 just went by a few minutes ago heading north out of Holland. BNSF engines 9361, 9605.

Light power heading south to Waverly, D801 - just went by Riley Street - BNSF engines 9948, 5890.

I'll see if I can get out tomorrow morning and take some pics of Amtrak so we can figure out what types of cars they are using through Holland.

Y121 just finished up at Windquest and headed south back to Waverly. Anyone know why we have been seeing two cabooses on Y121 lately?

Y121 is requesting permission to use the Windquest switch (Riley Street) - so should be seeing them shortly...

D801 just went by Riley Street heading south to Waverly. 1:05 PM.

Sounds like D801 is on the move - or trying -calling Dispatch and Y121 - they want to take light power to Waverly, then to Wells.

When and why does Amtrak switch to Superliners?

Yep - Tlout = Tim. The company my wife works for uses TLC for storage of frozen items, which is why when I see those white UP reefers going by on the local I usually figure that they're headed for TLC.

One of these days I should consider a model railroad with Holland, Zeeland, and Hamilton on it...
