As gas prices continue to climb ever so higher, it always amazes me (especially in this state with rampant unemployment) how a lot of people just keep on acting like were back in the good ole days before the recession. Gas could be $8 a gallon and come memorial day weekend, I75 will still be lined w...

As long as your not down in a basement, the 7" antenna should be just fine for listening to sterling yard operations. My antenna is that size and occasionally I pick up chatter on the Mt. Clemens sub. Try it out as is and if your reception doesn't seem very good, then you can look into getting a sma...

Uniden scanners are not that hard to use once you get the hang of it. I have the handheld uniden sportcat 200, probably similar to what you have. When you turn it on, it will start scanning immediately. Pressing the manual button will stop the scanning. Then you can use either the up or down arrow b...

Also on Dish Network channel 231. Over the last month, they have been showing some pretty interesting programs on steam locos.

Hey Chris. just wondering. Is there a diamond where the Saginaw sub and Michigan air line meet or does the track stop? I was looking at the pic and it looks like the track in the foreground stops short.

Looks great! The possibilities with Trainz are endless. Also, nice job on your version of the Holly Sub. I had to check it out since I grew up pretty close to the Holly Sub in Waterford.

I'm not sure on what version of DirectX I currently have. Will have to check next time I'm on it. The machine I have is a Dell Dimension 3000 thats 3 years old which, as you can imagine, isn't exactly geared for heavy gaming. It has the pentium 4 at 2.8ghz with 1.5gigs of ram which I plan on boostin...

Not too long after my last post last night I figured that part out (train building). What was giving me problems was the length of time waiting for the rolling stock or loco to appear on the track. This game tends to run slow on my machine sometimes but is otherwise fine when I only have Trainz runn...

I just bought trainz2006 the other day and I am having a problem with a route I got from Auran's download station. I thought I downloaded it properly and its available in the surveyor part of the program but it is not available to run a train on. Can somebody tell me how get the route into the spot ...

Ahh, I see. Hopefully a better location will turn up. It definitely isn't worth the effort if the location doesn't provide good coverage. At least a site in Richmond would also provide some coverage of the Mt. Clemens sub.

Hey guys, has there been any developments in trying to find another receiver site for Holly? I was also wondering once the site is set up, will it be able to pick up whats being sent to the signals and siding at Andersonville, or will another site farther south down the line be used for that?
