I think it ended right before I started working there in 2010. That was such a cool railroad we routinely worked 12s down there doing 2 switches a day for EQ, FPT Boomer and Vesco Oil.

The trash is trucked to Will Carleton landfill. We did a job next to the dump and the trucks went by all day long.

Lucky me, I was stuck on Van Horn at flat rock while that train with the CP unit waited for an inbound to yard. 45 mins I sat there in my dump truck. I was figuring by the time I got loaded and back to the shop in Holly they would go by again but I never did see it.
