I am sure i could arrange that. I will also be painting a LSRC unit for Sunday as well... that may be a bit ambitious of me to say. I work 104 hours this week so i may not have time to finish...but i'm optimistic.

Re: New additions to my roster part 2
Thank you for the kinds words. Some things i am willing to let be, i'm sure there would be a million different things i could do to make it 100% authentic. If you're still in need i have a couple CM sets left for the GP's and i may have some left for the Uboats. Let me know if you still want any. I'...

Re: New additions to my roster part 2
Thanks Todd. new pictures posted on the top post of the newly finished CM8905. My layout is soon chaging focus from major class 1 to michigan shortlines. argh. I've painted over 50 locomotives in GTW/CN over the last 2 years for my layout concept...and now its all changing... i guess thats the way t...

Re: Polly Scale, etc.. Waterbase paints...
I use primarily polly scale paint except for the occassion when floquil is the only brand that has the color i need. I have found that most colors can be painted as is without being thinned...expecially orange, yellows and reds...they seem to be MUCH more runny then others. The only colors that "Spl...

Re: LSRC DECALS! Late, but worth the wait! Order now!!
I am glad you like them. I did not do body stripes for these reasons: 1. they take up a lot of space 2. if I did them I would have to charge about $30 per set because of print space. 3. they are readily available at www.microscale.com my goal was to keep these as cheap as I could, doing the stripes ...

LSRC customers
I guess this question would fit both here and in model railroading, but i'll just ask here. I have never seen the LSRC run in person and am wondering what types of customers they serve? I know they do grain, but other then that, i'm not familiar with them at all. I'm contemplating changing my layout...

Re: New addition to my roster #8804
This is an Atlas GP40. i have modified the exterior to be prototypical by removing a fan and patching the roof and sides as appropriate. Central Michigan had these rebuilt to the standards of a GP38-2...atleast thats what i've heard.

Michigan Shortline decals - Pictures
Hey everyone, the LSRC and Central Michigan decals arrived over the weekend. Due to the popularity of these sets i ordered a couple extras (just incase). Now is your time to get them, once they are gone, they are gone. Here is a list of my current inventory. Sets are still $10 each, bulk orders will...

Central Michigan U-boat decals - order now
Along with the LSRC i am also working on re-doing my CM set (december release) to include the 4 u-boat locomotives. This set and the LSRC sets will be coming out at the same time. If anyone has any interest in the CM u-boat sets let me know. There are 2 set options. 1 set can do ONE loco from these ...

LSRC decals, only 2 days left. new # added and N scale too!
Hey everyone, thank you to all who responded so far. I spent 6 hours proofing this decal set today ensuring that once it arrives it will be as close as i can make it to prototypically correct. Aside from all the road numbers offered earlier, i have now added another road number bringing the total lo...

LSRC DECALS! Late, but worth the wait! Order now!!
Hey everybody... I've been waiting patiently for this next set of custom decals to be ready for over a month, but they are finally ready for printing. I saw the proof this morning and they are defnitely worth the wait. I had such a variety made that the cost of these was quite high for me, although ...

Yes, i do get them done through a 3rd party. Doing a sheet for just one locomotive would not be cost effective.

Detroit and Mackinac in LSRC patch paint
Hello everyone, as most of you all know by now i have gotten myself involved in a very complicated project of doing custom decals for most (if not all) Michigan shortlines. This set of pictures doesn't have any custom decals per se but is the kick off of the project. I just completed two LSRC locomo...

Re: Detroit & Mackinac decals
Yeah, i'm not too certain. the decals i get are off an ALPS printer...great quality. I have ordered from a few sources before and i can tell you it does matter who prints them for you. There are so many things that can be adjusted to make perfect lines. Since Herald King already has a set out there ...
