Re: Detroit & Mackinac decals
As far as i know these were never made in O scale... i may be wrong, but i think microscale only did DM boxcars and herald king only did HO (i think). I could get you O scale decals made though. I don't want to intimidate you with price but it generally costs art time plus print. When i get my custo...

Central Mich decals due next week...first come first serve!
Hey everybody... As discussed last month i am doing a 2009 project hoping to reproduce decals from all the larger shortlines in michigan at a rate of 1-2 roads per month. The first shortline i have chosen to do is the Central Michigan. I will have the decals available to do units 8800-8804. I am pla...

Re: Athearn RTR TSBY GP35's not looking very good.....
For those not happy with this go-around of Athearns TSBY i will be doing a tribute to the old TSBY with Black/Yellow units in early 2009. Since Athearn doesn't make correct nose headlights i will also be adding those on. While i'm in the design process, i could probably get a more accurate blue deca...

Polly Anne question
I live near the former PO&N line and have been trying to find the origins of the name "Polly Anne." Was that the way the line was referred to when it still was operating or is that a new term now that it is a trail? If anyone knows the details i'd love to hear it. Also, what year were the tracks act...

Re: Michigan Shortlines - taking orders
I am always willing to sell just the decals. Due to cost i will only be making select models. For LSRC i will only be making decals for the century series as well as MLW 420's...those decals can be combined with microscale CN stripes to make the GP40's and SD40. I will be making the nose stripes and...

Re: LSRC short nose
Are these locomotives completely off the roster now?
975 - Lake Huron
976 - West Branch
1195 - East Tawas
3563 - Lake Superior
3571 - For the Gipper 2004
Do you know the current roster?
Thanks for your help so far.

LSRC short nose
Hey everyone... i don't live near the LSRC or SBS and haven't been able to find any good overhead pictures of the GP/SD units. Do these units have black anti-glare paint on the tops of the short noses? Also, does anyone have a list or know the "city of's" on each unit? thanks everybody.

Re: Removing factory lettering
All depends on how they put it on. I'm running into new locomotives that the paint (or letters and numbers) will not come off with techniques (pine-sol) that used to work great. Not quite sure how they are applying them now. If its a decal, microscale products or pine-sol will work fine.
