The GLC departed Osmer tonight at 830pm. 398 and 397 led a train of about 40 cars, an assortment of sand, grain, tank, and what looked to be a couple rotary dump hopper cars full of either coal or coke? I would assume they would be coke because of the plant in Cadillac, but they sure looked like coa...

This really isn't much of an update, but the Annie ran straight from Milan to Osmer last night and met the GLC around midnight. The Annie brought a 60 car grain train, and the GLC handed off a 91 car consist of grain and gons.

Has much grain started moving on the GLC? haven't heard of any unit trains.

I've read that the Eagle mine only has a lifespan of about 8 years...after these 8 years I wonder if they will try and ship ore from elsewhere to the Humboldt mill, or if the traffic will dry up all together?

I'm not positive but I'm fairly sure that the curve in Dexter is the tightest on the MI line.

So then the Jackson-Kazoo turn will be on top of the Jackson-Battle Creek turn and the Jackson-Albion turn? seems like things could get hairy between Jackson and Albion with 6 freights and 6 amtks a day.
