Doesn anyone have info on this fallen flag? I understand that it ran somewhere along in the bessemer/ironwood area, but don't have much more info than that. What were there customers/ops like?

I do not recall any particular move of ore by the ELS. There may have been "stuff" moved out of the old Groveland Mine near Felch, MI. Does the ore come in by rail from Minnesota in the winter?, like unit trains?

I seem to vaguely remember the EL&S doing a special ore move regarding a shut down mine a few years ago? like they picked up the left over ore from an abandoned mine? Does anyone know where the pictures are? and has the EL&S done anything like this since?

Could you possibly map out/diagram it? I'm having a hard time visualizing everything

The hopper couldn't have come out of the plant could it have? there are a few other sidings on the branch aren't there?

Here is the article, that mentions the LS&I getting a 3 mile bypass of Eagle Mills yard. This seems to be different than the reactivation of Humboldt trackage. The whole operation took about an hour. All you can do is listen on the scanner lol, I think the symbol they usually use is B90

Today, AMTK 350 had 5 extra passenger cars tacked on to the tail end to be set off in the old interchange in Ann Arbor. NS sent a B90 following behind to do the switching. There were so many cars in this cut that it required the locomotives to cross Lakeshore drive on the siding track, which has not...

There won't be any interchange between the AA and the GDLK via AA any time soon, the interchange needs major work to handle any trains let alone through freights. Also, the interchange is a VERY steep grade (Gotta be atleast 4% maybe?) and goes through a very narrow right-of-way of woods and across...
