Re: E&LS Reserve Mining SD9
Hey Matt, Thanks for the color "match" on those SD9......I've been waiting and looking and searching. Now I can finally finish those 4 ELS SD9's I've been putting off....If that guy said that color was good and you like it then its a go for me. Thanks

A couple "new" units rolled out of the Gladstone Shops today...First up is CN SD40 #5116 and next up is WC only SD35 on their roster, #2500......now only 14 more units to paint up. I pretty much have settled on CN/WC mix of power. I do plan on having a couple of SOO units and 2 SD9 I thought I would...

Re: custom painting showcase
Hey Tyler,,,,I used polly scale reefer white and steampower black for the rails with 3-4 coats of flat finish...however, if you're gonna be handling the locomotive alot i'd recommend you use pactra paint. It is used for r/c car bodys and it will absorb a little more flexing without chipping off.

Re: custom painting showcase
chris, You want 2 N scale loco's painted up? I usually charge around 45.00-50.00 per locomotive..I would be happy to do this for you, however right now I do not have nor have I been able to obtain the necessary CSX decals for that scheme. Microscale is sold out and other suppliers are sold out also....
