In addition to the slide show, an oral presentation will be made on the history of Conrail. By the way, the correct spelling of the last name of the presenter should be Rzucidlo. Also we will be holding our meeting in Club Room No. 1.

Since I was a Ford security supervisor at the Rouge during the final years of the railroad, I can tell you that the last days for the Ford railroad was in 2002. In fact the track maintenance department was eliminated on March 31, 2002 and the railroads last day of operation was November 31, 2002.

So I see that you were in Holland, Ohio. They use to blow for the crossing, but when I was their last year I saw that the placed a sign-up by the crossing indicating that the trains no longer sound their horns for the crossing.
