Re: Woodward Light Rail

Wate of time, money and not needed. If a bus system can't be run properly in the city, how in the heck is a transit system going to fare any better. I don't care if its run by the public or by private concerns.

Re: Delray Tower Shutdown / To Be Torn Down

When will people relize that Detroit is dead. Its a third word country city with no hope. They may have a few attraction items, but for the most part it is a dead city. If its so great then why those promoting Detroit as this great place move into the city??????

Being a former Boy Scout, an Eagle Scout and former Police Explorer, I think that this is a great honor for the Boy Scouts of America, and thank you Union Pacific.

I must say that the way that they have the locomotive marked looks great.

Thank's for posting this.

Re: Amtrak vs. firetruck

No excuse for this happening. If in fact they blocked the tracks, they should have had the fire dispatcher contact the railroad and notify them of that fact. Just in case they did notify the railroad, then shame on everyone involved.

Re: Detroit Light Rail

From the comments that I head from those calling in, most were against the project and or had major concerns. I would have to say it sounds like a good way to waste money for what? If you have light rail then what are you going to do with the buses? Do we realy need light rail and buses on Woodward?...
