Triple Crown is a trucking company, not a rail company. They are doing what makes sense.

We can absolutely verify that CSX train counts between Garrett and Deshler are 70-75 trains a day. It isn't like one of the people posting here is a track inspector on that section of track or anything.

From Bucyrus east you could meet trains at Upper, Lima, (Potentially you could meet several trains there if you were going to fleet things which is likely how you would do it anyway.) and Delphos. That is it.

Re: Napoleon, Defiance and Western: The Definitive Thread
Hirail attempted to split into two towards the end to attempt a run around of their problems. It was ultimately not allowed and the divisions never really existed although they did stick stickers on a few things. MAW 4 carried this sticker up to the end of the MAW and probably still has it wherever ...

The Company I work for and have worked at for 15 years now has received far more money in grants than the ND&W has. What is the difference? Are you outraged about that too? Is your name Pregg?

The Economic Development committees in Paulding, Defiance and Henry counties have made it a point to help get improvements for the line as the line does generate industry and employment for the area. Unless you live here they aren't your tax dollars anyway. They spent hundreds of millions on the For...

From a very reliable source it was not the ND&W that had the diamond pulled but the previous regime just before the end which makes sense considering all the money grubbing they (he) were (was) doing before the end.
