Fellow Railfans Next time any of you go to Durand, Go to the Spartan market in town. Look in the isle with the microwave popcorn. They have microwaveable pork rinds in both original and spicy. O'h my god these are soooo good. But you have to be careful when cooking them. They don't pop like popcorn....

f you think Plymouth is bad, you should try living right next to tracks that really only see 2 scheduled trains on a regular basis and one runs late at night and the other runs very early in the morning 99% of the time. Anything else that runs through here is called only when they need it. I sympat...

Ok, so today I had the day off from my "dream job" and decided to give Plymouth one more chance since I'm the only person who doesn't see 20 trains a day like the rest of you. I got there at 8:15 am and stayed until 1:00 and saw two trains. Like I said before "what a waste of time."

Welcome to this site. I really think you'll like Fostoria and Deshler. Their great places to go to see alot of trains. Give us a shout when your going, you just may see some of us there. Cheers

I do know how to count. Although I may have dozed off once.

Trainwatcher, I've been going to Plymouth for a long time, day and night. In the past 8-9 months have never seen more then 4 trains. I don't count an engine pulling two cars as a train.

I do go to Deshler when I can, amongst other places in Ohio where I can see more then 2 trains in 7 hours.

I go to Plymouth because it's really the only place near me to go train watching without having to drive 100 miles. I sat in Plymouth for about 6-7 hours and saw 2 trains and a couple yard jobs. I live in Michigan and when I go to Ohio I usually go to Fostoria. I've been looking to go somewhere different (kind of getting tired of Fostoria). Someone had mentioned Marion. Just looking for any info on Marion as far as train watching. Any favorite places to go, any good photo ops, etc.
