does anyone know when the manistee & northeastern's platte river junction branch from platte river junction to empire junction was abandoned. i looked on michiganrailroads.com railroads timeline and i did not see any abandonment dates for the branch. my guess is sometime in the 1910's.

Todd, Thanks for the info about fastenall. the problem with the washers has been solved. i called The Train Exchange hobby shop in kokomo indiana and they can get the washers for me. also heard from athearn finally and they are sending replacement washers. so will have plenty of them when i need them.

I am missing washers from 6 heavyweight passenger cars. Does anyone know of an alternative to where I can get them. I just purchased these cars.

can anyone tell me what athearn's street address is? i want to order a part from them directly and could not access their site earlier. also do they accept money orders?

i am looking for athearn 70' heavyweight round roof and clerestory roof coach kits and one 70' observation car kit. decorated or undecorated kits are fine. all original parts included and no alterations to the floor, including filing down for easier fit.

Can anyone help me out? I just bought an Athearn 70' heavyweight round roof coach and the floor (part #18502 ) wriggles up and down when connected with the car body. Does anyone have a spare athearn heavyweight coach floor they can part with? Athearn appears to longer stock this part.
