Internet chatter says they are going to Erie for repainting.

We'll see, I've heard to Selkirk & back since they were stored over a year to stretch their legs.

Question about the rebuilds.
One source said:
All 7000’s , 7200’s are CM44ACs.
Another said:
7000s - CM44AC, not heavy (rebuilds will be from #s 1-199 series)
7200s - CM44AH, heavy (rebuilds will be from #s 200+)
Which is correct?

Have had a few AC4400's pass thru recently with stacks capped heading north toward Selkirk. I'm guessing either coming out of storage or heading to GE for rebuilding. Units were: 305, 128, 81, 280, 438, 238, 97, 315. Also 584, but don't think that would be rebuilt yet.

I had 2 more switchers last week heading to Selkirk. I heard they are going to be reactivated.

I saw the other 3 today, stacks are covered.

Recently 6 switchers have ended up on Q410 heading to Selkirk. I'm wondering if they are going for inspections, storage, prep for sale, or ? Numbers are 1210, 1226, 1170, and coming are 1218, 1223, 1186. Any help would be appreciated, I didn't see any other reporting marks or signs on the units.

Sounds like a new wave of retirements may be happening, the following passed thru my area recently headed south, all with capped stacks: 1236, 1233,1215,1151.
