UP C40's leased to NS - picture

Unread post by MDH »

The first one of these I've seen first hand was on 18M today which had NS 9387, NS 8992 & UP 9157. Here it is going through Vickers in Toledo just after noon. Note the "NS Lease" sticker on the cab side.

Any idea what the need is for the NS Lease Patch? I've never seen that done before!

New NS policy from what I've heard, all engines leased to NS are required to wear them.
