Lookin' good! The [..CSX..] logo looks good on the back.

IMO, they should put little "How Tomorrow Moves" sub-lettering under the bigger logo, sorta like the "Employee-Owned" under "Marquette" on GLLX 3001.

Doesn't look like there's much room to put it underneath. Maybe they could put it on the end of the long hood, "Conrail" style? :wink:

I think Tops has a point there. But it looks good all the same.

Anybody scene one of these things sitting at night yet? The thing has LED walkway lights all over it and they are bright. They look like dimly lite ditch lights from a distance. The two that have been wandering around Wyoming look like they are pretty nice inside.

Good to see the use of the logo expanding to re-paints as well. In my opinion the overall marketing campaign (especially the radio & TV spots) is very good.

I'll take those "boxy-looking cabs" over the old sd40 cabs anyday and twice on Sunday.

1) They have more room inside the cab for the crew and their grips;
2) The doors are built on an angled front, allowing easier access into the cab;
3) They are more sound-proof, and have A.C. for the hot summers;
4) The doors are properly sealed, so that cold, winter air doesn't flow into the cab.
5) They have the more comfortable seats for crew comfort, though they not properly lined up with the windows toward the front ( you have to lean a little bit to see all of the track structure in front of your locomotive).

glad to see them upgrading the cabs.....it's been long overdue!

They did not consult railfans when they chose that butt-ugly cab :wink:

There is also an SD70MAC and AC6000 in boxcar as well.
I'm just here to put in time claims and complain

Are they a WHO from WHOville? Can Horton hear them? :mrgreen:

Sorry, just happened to be watching "Horton Hears a Who" as I read that

Any WHO, that brings the YN2 totals to:
- GP40-2: 16
- EMD: 184
- Roster Total: 1138.

Photos showed up today of CSX CW60AC 681 and SD70M 4691 in fresh paint with boxcar logo's, plus, others claim (but no photos) that mother slug sets 2412/1052 and 6412/2330 are "re" paints with box car logo's.

Also, YN2 to YN3 repaints 2671,4402,8196 & 8541. 2671 was first reported as 2771. All repaints from both Waycross and Huntington will now have the box car HTM logo's.
