Do EMD/ProgressRail engines have their own version of GE's Energy Management/Trip Optimizer? I thought I've heard that more recent EMD rebuilds (SD70ACC's and SD70ACU's come to mind) have some version of them, but wasn't sure.

Yes. It’s called TALOS. As far as I know, it doesn’t work on CSX rail but I’ve seen the stickers for it on BNSF units hauling coal trains. I would imagine it works similarly to Trip Optimizer does on a GE unit.
