I know its a privledge regarding membership and I'm glad to have it. What I was getting at was Saturnalia's unnessecary editing and critiquing of my posts which are a constant nusciance.

MQT1223 unnecessarily quotes an entire update? Wow.

There are 47 B40/20-8s still on the roster. Most are active.

Not sure if this is a good place to put, but CSXT 3239/800 were up here on the LSRC yesterday, both in YN3 w/boxcar logo. May've missed it, but isn't 3239 a new tier 4?

3239 is one of the last Tier 3 ES44AHs. Tier 4 begins with 3250.

Units 3305 & 3310 have been spotted in my area in the past 2 weeks, 3310 was only about a week old when seen this past week.

Caught the 366 this week. So, maybe they are not as impressive as the NS units, but like the Spirit units, its something different to look for when trackside. Time will tell what else they decide to do.

Is it me or is the shade of blue that CSX uses on the YN3B units different then the traditional YN3 units? It doesn't look as dark.

OK, I did bump up the saturation a bit, but it was definitely a lighter shade of blue than the 4026 that was behind it, Also that strong October sun that day!

The "darker" shades should be on account of dirt. I'm not aware of any color changes since YN3

Here's the unretouched shot. I did overexpose it a bit, it was coming out of shade there.

I'm seeing on another forum the 8800's are being rebuilt to the 4200 series. 5 assigned numbers so far. And mention of 4370-4380 series too.

8800s are shown 4225 and up, 83/8400s at 4285 and up.

Wondering what will happen in the 4300s and such, because the GP39s are occupying 4294, 4298, and 4300-4319.

Can you link to said forum so I can read that post?

We usually don't post rebuilds out farther than they're completed, in an effort to assure accuracy, but I guess I'll bite with the 4285 and up, since I haven't seen that online yet.

4285 8342
4286 8336
4287 8409
4288 8320
4289 8440
4290 8450
4291 8447
