Hijacking this thread for the meet.
Voting is complete, meet dates are Saturday Sept 20th in Fostoria Ohio, and Sunday Sept 21st in Deshler Ohio. Admin might be sleeping in either Deshler or Toledo on Fri night, then spend early morning until 6pmish in Fostoria, then over to Deshler for Saturday night, camp, then spend a good amount of the day in Deshler on Sunday.

Let's vote on the dates to go to Fostoria and Deshler. Thinking Fostoria from sunrise on a Saturday morning until 6pmish, then head west to Deshler, setup tents, grab food, and drink by the fire.
Weekends:
Aug 23rd-24th (seems clear from railfan events)
Aug 30th-31st - no, labor day weekend
Sept 6th-7th - steam in the valley at Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad in Cleveland area.
Sept 13th-14th - steam in the valley at Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad in Cleveland area.
Sept 20th-21st - looks open
Sept 27th-28th - Fostoria Railroad days - probably not a good idea to go then.

2 questions, as I haven't been to the new Fostoria park yet:

1) Is the park open 24 hours?

2) Are there areas to sleep there, even if it's in your car?
