I was doing some satellite railfanning and I came across a switch engine at Soo Crossing in Michigan’s upper peninsula.
Does anybody have any information on this engine and is it still currently on the siding as of 09/08/2023

Soo Crossing switch engine.
Re: Soo Crossing switch engine.
where are you getting that date from?
you can't get aerial imagery dates for apple or bing maps.
you can get it from google earth pro which iirc was 2014.

Nicolet, Badger & Northern NW2 #62. Been there since they shut down in 1994, just north of Laona WI. It's now lettered MWLX 62, being vandalized.

I popped the top deck covers 2 Decembers ago ( I know shame on me for trespassing) Other than the copper tubing being gone and the governor, the block was remarkably clean and didn't look like it would take much motor work to run again.
