There was mention of a new unit coming to the HESR on one of the boardhost sites a week or so ago. However, the poster there said that his source named the donor road as NECR...Still, it will be nice to see another unit running around here if they do in fact send a new one over.

Well..interesting!! The HESR will also have a family reunion of sorts..seeing that the 3821 is a former CORP GP38 (IIRC). Might I ask...is the HESR actually power short..or are there some loco's on the current roster to be retired?
M.D....may I post this over at my site (HESRRailfan)??

Could one of these units be going to MMRR in Muskegon I wonder? There was talk of getting rid of some power over there.....

When is the new power arriving on the HESR/MMRR? I'm heading down to Saginaw/BC next week and it would be great to see it!

Nice, a blue and gold unit. Thats certainly better than another red & grey Railtex scheme one.

What about the MMRR one?
This is my life. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

If this is a problem get used to it.

I watched one set out Saturday between 6am and noon and there were no engines in the set out. On the drive by of the yard either but it was pretty full of cars and I could easily have missed them.

As per Steven, NECR 3852 is on CN 371 in Durand along with a windmill train, presumably for the HESR.

After making it to Markham, the 3852 arrived in Bay City tonight on the 701. They also stopped along the way and picked up the 2014 from Genesee Yard.
