Lansing Show - 11/12/06

Unread post by RailCanon »

Just a reminder,
The Lansing Model Railroad Club is holding their annual swap meet and train show tomorrow at the MSU Pavilion here in East Lansing, near Trowbridge.
This is one of the biggest train shows held in this state every year.

Since I live only two miles away from the Pavilion, I will of course be there, along with my dad, who shares the Model hobby with me.
I will most likely be wearing a gray East Lansing Trojans sweatshirt. Hope to see some people there!

I won't be there, I'm heading for TRAINFEST here in Milwaukee for the second day...it really takes about that long to see the whole show! The show is about four times the size of the Lansing one, and is the largest in the country!

Have fun in Lansing tomorrow everyone! :)

Avery went to the Wisconsin show today and we will be heading for the Lansing show on Sunday. Look for Milwaukee Rd shirts.

Railzfan: Thanks for including the note about TRAINFEST being largest in the country...when I went to Springfield (MA) last winter, I was told it was the 2nd largest in the country and that the largest one is in the Chicago area, but the people telling me that didn't know which one it was...If TRAINFEST is bigger than Springfield, I'd be surprised if you really can see it all in two days...
