Athearn passenger washers: best alternatives?

I am missing washers from 6 heavyweight passenger cars. Does anyone know of an alternative to where I can get them. I just purchased these cars.

Are you refering to the washers that hold the trucks on? If so just take a small piece of plastic sheet and drill a #50 hole in it and use that.

Check your local Yellow Pages and see if there is a "Fastenall" store nearby. Whenever I need an unusual nut,bolt, washer, etc., if they don't have it, they can usually get it within a day or two. Just be sure to take a sample of what you need with you. With odd sizes etc, it is always much easier to be able to show them what you need rather than trying to describe it.

Thanks for the info about fastenall. the problem with the washers has been solved. i called The Train Exchange hobby shop in kokomo indiana and they can get the washers for me. also heard from athearn finally and they are sending replacement washers. so will have plenty of them when i need them.
