:shock: wow....i know a saw a coupla jems in there...the pre and post-war Gilbert "S" gauge was the "scale" of tin-plate and this looks great :D

Just put them on the track, open a few brews, and let em' rip :) . Nice layout Aaron.
PatC created a monster, 'cause nobody wants to see Don Simon no more they want AARR I'm chopped liver, well if you want AARR this is what I'll give ya, bad humor mixed with irrelevant info that'll make you roll your eyes quicker than a ~Z~ banhammer...

Great Layout - that is more action than I have ever seen!

How many seperate cabs (or is it DCC) do you need to have all those trains operating at once?

Thanks Bill,

The layout is all AC power. Powerd by two vintage AF transformers that control 2 tracks each.
Nearly everything you see dates back the the late 40's and into the 50's.

I have 4 powerd loops; 2 are the outside mains that wrap around a "dog bone" intertwined with a figure 8. Two of the tracks have Parallel trackage allowing for 2 other trains waiting for the Green. So 4 trains are running at any given time. With 2 on stand by. Not counting the spurs with other motive power sitting around.

Its fun working on and maintaining the vintage power.
