Yesterday I made another volume to my layout railfanning and in two parts capturing lots of runs. I spent the weekend reassembling some of my Athearn Locos including unpowered dummys. Normally I would run two powered but the dummy gives the appearence of two locomotives and plus it is a lot cheaper than powered locos. Good thing with Athearn is they make spare parts so I can power these in the future. For now just for show. I also assembled a powered loco giving for more power on my layout which means more running opportunities.
First part is mostly runthrough freights with one power wye.

Second part takes us to the diamonds where every train on my layout passes through, I refer to it as the layout nucleus, as just about every train passes through, most of the time twice. After most road freights are cleared we have some power wyes and a couple stone movements.

Had them already, the flats in the previous videos have the box shells removed so I put them back on. This is a little trick I use to give the effect of more rolling stock than I actually have. I need to get some piggy back cars for some containers and my truck trailers.

When can I will. I want to add trees around the yard trackage so it hides it from the main. This way the effect of a longer run is given on a somewhat short point-to-point.

Forgot to mention too that I am waiting on getting new track, I don't want to start installing scenery only to have to tear it down when relaying track
