A Few Photos of My Layout

Unread post by Railzfan »

Hello everyone,

Here are a few photos of my HO scale Rio Grande-Southern Pacific layout. I model Western Colorado in the late 1980's, early 90's. Scenery is about 90% complete. Layout size is 11' x 20'. Enjoy the pix and if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask.

Hey Andrew, do you have a map or diagram of the layout?

Nice job. The Rio Grungy has always been a favorite. I remember the days up at Big 10 curve, and Moffat tunnel. aaaaaaah

Yes, the good ole Rio Grunge was an amazing railroad, nothing like seeing 19 SD's and Geeps (5-10-4) on a 100 car coal train over the Moffat Route, talk about POWER! I've railfanned on Big Ten several times...sure is amazing as well as the Moffat Tunnel itself!

As for a track plan drawing, I don't have any that I can upload right now...just have a drawing on grid paper. I'll see if I can make one up for you all though! ;)

Thank you for the comments! :):):)
