video tech question

Can I hook a DVD player up to computer moniter and have it work?

There is no way to do that that I know of. I'm assuming it is a SVGA monitor? Or DVI? Your DVD player would have to have one of those two outputs.

Yes, you can if your graphics card can handle it like the ATI All-In-Wonder card. I did it for awhile but I got a gaming Video card and no ports or S-Video. Your sould would be through your sound card and thats another connection headache but very do able.

depends on your video card and your monitor.

Some Video Cards have a coax cable in line; which you can use. Some eve have RCA. then some monitors have Coax in, or RCA in. Although another thought just popped in. if you have a new enough system your monitor may have an HDMI in and your DVD player can have an HDMI out. second thought.... DVD player you say? does your computer have a DVD drive in it? if so; just skip using the player and put the DVD in your computer.
