I have heard from several sources that CN 5245, an SD40-2W, has been sent to the Bessemer and Lake Erie to replace BLE 905, which hit a log truck a few months ago. One of the BL&E boards sighted the unit behind BLE 867 heading north in Shenango, PA. Sad to see the reign of solid orange B&LE, just over 9 years since it was purchased by CN.

I'd still rather see that SD40-2 than the usual CN power

That SD40-2 probably runs better than the usual SD70's, at least that's what I hear and read.CAT345C wrote:I'd still rather see that SD40-2 than the usual CN power
