No pick up at Moterm for 391.

No they were having problems with 5854 and was moving slowly, from my understanding 5854 is back running.

391 is at Pontiac will be dropping off 17 cars and picking up 14.

391 is leaving Pontiac.


GTW 4912
GTW 5854 drained and shut down.
BCOL 4650

52 loads 52 empty.

Then wife spoke to me and all I got for the length 8000 + feet never did get the exact number .

Where did they snatch 4912 from? Guess thats what they get for putting that 5854 on the head of this train.

4912 is the engine that has been getting a lot of use for local trains over the last few weeks. They had been keeping it in the yard at Pontiac between uses.

148 coming thru Durand now, and what I believe is 490 is between Shaftsburg and Bancroft at the moment. 399 will follow Amtrak 365 out of Flint.

GTW 4623 is about to switch POST in Battle Creek. Got OK to enter from TD4

According to RR picture archives, 4623 used to be CV 4549

The old Back and Orange/Red paint scheme used by the CN family in the 60's and 70's remains my favorite

Those along the Flint sub should be advised to look or listen for the Santa train today. It was (possibly still is) sitting in Battle Creek yard this morning. Both IC E-units and three passenger cars.
