I would appreciate it if anyone can update us as they see it. I will do the same thing if and when I can see it. Thanks!

1100 back to Wheeling huh? What would that make the chances that it will come through Greenwich tomorrow before sunset?

The way things have gone for this train, slim to none.

If anyone had any updates, please post time and location. Nothing on TO, looks like they are running behind already...

Can anyone guess a time-frame from Rook to Brewster? I'd guess at BEST, 4 hours from Brewster to Crestline.

Dicey? Try "impossible" (for western Ohio at least). It's a good 5 hours under good conditions Rook-Brewster these days and there's rumors of tunnel work that could delay it near Pittsburgh junction. That's past 7PM to get to Brewster - if it keeps on running it *might* get onto CSX at New London before useable light fades away...

EDIT: (as posted on TO):

"Westbound through Bolivar, Ohio at 7:25 PM. Currently in Brewster getting supplies from the gas station by the Brick."

Nice shots GLC! I almost did that Mon river one also but opted to start heading back after shooting it at two other locations across town.

Here's my contribution from today. First up, the train getting under way from Veron, PA (just south of Oakmont):

Then an hour later rolling along on the AVR on the 33st bridge:

Nice photos, Michael! Steven- I like your collection a lot as well!

I was wondering today when it was going back west, since I hadn't been keeping tabs on it. Then my friend told me it went back today, and I wondered if anyone was able to get decent photos of it. I guess they did!

Pure guess but if it kept moving reasonably it should have made somewhere in Indiana by morning and may well be already back in Chicago at this point. Weather sucks and even if it didn't the move would'a been right outta the morning sun. It'd be interesting to know just how accurate my guess is but I haven't seen it reported anywhere yet...
